Background

Our client is a well established orthodontic laboratory, and a leading supplier to hospitals orthodontic wards, private orthodontists and dentists.

 

The issue

After a period of stagnation the owner was looking for ways to create leverage internally so that he would not be so involved himself in production, thus freeing time to go and acquire new clients, and grow the business further.

 

The outcome

 A reorganisation of the production flow allowed to extract the owner from it, and created extra capacity in anticipation of new clients. An administration and accounts function was created and resourced.

A marketing plan was crafted and implemented. Time spent with clients provided new insights on competition, pricing, service delivery.

Our client was able to double the size of his business through a combination of a new brand, new pricing, and new clients acquisitions.
